1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Scope. This Privacy Notice applies to all the Services, Websites and Software Apps (collectively referred to as “Services”) offered by CloudJunction Advisors, Inc. (“CloudJunction” or “We”). The Services include:

This Privacy Note applies when CloudJunction provides products and services directly to our customers and collects any information from the employee users of our customers in systems and websites owned, used and controlled by us directly.
2. TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you subscribe to our services, you may provide us with your information, which includes:
2.1 Identifiers and Contact Data. When you (or your organization) create a user account and/or activate a subscription, you may enter personal information like:
- Name
- Email Address
- Company Name
2.2 Commercial and Transaction Information. When you purchase a license to our Services, we may collect:
- Product edition and number of licenses purchased
- Payment / Billing information including billing contact and billing address
2.3 Marketing Data. You may provide us with your preferences for receiving marketing communications.
2.4 Customer Support Information. We collect information submitted through our Customer Support portal, such as name, email, and message text. We may also record the content of Customer Support, Customer Success and Sales calls.
2.5 App Usage Information. We may automatically collect information about your use of our apps, such as the last time you logged in, aggregated volume of records processed, product usage and app logs/error reports.
2.6 Communication Interaction Data. We may automatically collect information about your interaction with our websites and email communications, such as whether a link was clicked on, which page was viewed, whether an email sent to you was delivered, opened, clicked on or if it bounced.
3. HOW PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED
We may use your information in a number of ways or as otherwise described at the time of collection:
3.1 Service delivery and operations. We may use your information to:
- Provide a user account to fulfill our contractual obligations to you regarding delivering our services
- Authenticate your identity to access our services and customer portal
- Deliver communication necessary to manage our relationship with you such as sending you notifications and reminders for renewal and expiration of subscriptions and related payments
- Process billing and receive payments for app subscriptions
- Provide customer service and technical support to resolve any service issues
- Proactively guide and help you improve and optimize your adoption and usage of our services
- Monitor the health of your app account and proactively prevent any disruptions in connectivity
- Send you electronic notifications and announcements to inform you of any service disruptions
- Communicate with you, such as sending you system updates, new release notifications, related notes and newsletters educating you about optimizing your app usage
3.2 Marketing and Advertising. In accordance with your marketing opt-out preferences, we may use your information to:
- Educate and make you aware of our products, services and marketing offers
- Manage event registrations and attendance, including sending related communications to you
3.3 Compliance and protection. We may use your personal information to:
- Protect against misuse or abuse of our Services and ensure compliance with our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Prevent fraudulent or illegal activity
- Exercise our rights in the course of judicial, administrative, or arbitration proceedings
3.4 Data Protection. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our website visitors, customers and subscribers/service users who access our Website or Services. We take the following measures to protect your data:
- We have implemented security measures that follow accepted industry standards to protect any collected information sent to our Website or provided to our Services, both during transmission and storage.
- The data collected is not used to develop, improve, or train any generalized AI and/or ML models
- The data collected is only stored in secure enterprise cloud systems provided and maintained by Salesforce.com and Google Workspace, in accordance with their data security and protection best practices.
4. HOW PERSONAL INFORMATION IS SHARED
4.1 In-house access. The information collected is accessed internally by in-house CloudJunction team members on a strict need-to-know basis, for example our billing team might use your billing contact information to process your billing while our customer service and support team might access error logs to resolve any technical issue in the provision of services to you.
4.2 Sharing with third parties. We do not rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties, except under the following circumstances:
- We use third parties (like Stripe) for credit card payment processing, which are prohibited from using your personal information for promotional purposes.
- We may share your personal information if compelled by law to comply with a judicial process or legal process.
- We may share personal information with our legal advisors who are prohibited from using your information for promotional purposes.
- We may share your information, only with your clear and explicit consent prior to each such request, with a clearly identified customer/potential customer to facilitate an introduction to you as a reference customer to share your experience of using our Services
5. PERSONAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
5.1 Access to Personal Information. You can review, update or delete your personal information on file with us at any time by updating it through our Customer Portal or emailing [email protected].
5.2 Marketing Communication Preferences. You can update your marketing communication preferences and choose which type of communications/newsletters to opt-in or opt-out of, using one-click access to the Subscription Center by clicking the link found at the bottom of all marketing, promotional and educational emails.
5.3 Personal Information Retention. We keep your personal information for as long as you are an active user of our Services though we may periodically delete and purge non-critical information like app usage data and error logs during this period. We delete certain personal information we collect about you when we no longer have a business reason to retain it. Additionally, there is some personal information we need to retain even after you close your account to comply with business and legal requirements, such as personal information related to our contract and business transactions with you, which we retain for ten years after your last interaction with us.
6. UPDATES TO PRIVACY NOTICE
We may amend this Privacy Notice at any time at our sole discretion and without prior notice to accommodate new technologies, industry practices, regulatory requirements or for other purposes. If we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the bottom of this notice and the revised notice will be posted to this page. Under certain circumstances (for example with certain material changes or where it is required by applicable privacy laws) we will provide notice to you of these changes. Notice may be by email to you, by posting a notice of such changes on our Services or by other means consistent with applicable law.
